Width — don't go smaller
The instinct with a shaping tank is to size down for more hold. Don't. A tank that's too small can't flatten the middle, because the softness has nowhere to go — it grips above and below, pushes everything forward, and starts riding up within minutes. Tighter looks bigger. CoreLock™ does the holding, so the size on the chart is the size that works.
Length — go up if you're tall
Over 6'1", take one size up. That one is for length, not tightness. Weight sets how wide the tank is, not how far down it sits — a longer torso needs the longer cut so the hem stays put. Same if you carry most of your weight at the front: the hem has further to travel.
Checking against the chart
- Start with your body weight — that column decides the size
- To cross-check, measure around the fullest part of your chest
- Keep the tape level and snug — not pulled tight
- Measure over bare skin or a thin shirt, standing relaxed
If weight and chest disagree
Weight decides. The chest column is a cross-check, not a second answer. If your chest lands a size above your weight, take the larger one — broad through the chest and it will pull at the armholes otherwise. If your chest lands a size below, stay with your weight size. The middle is what this tank has to hold.
